Two games. One limit.

Capo and Surge are set in different worlds and ask the same question: how far do you go before it tips over?

Capo

Idle Crime Tycoon · Prohibition

A laundromat out front. A smuggling ring out back. How hot do you let it run before the cops show up?

You turn the dial.

For each business you pick clean, balanced or hot. The greedier you get, the more it pays. And the faster heat climbs toward the alarm zone.

  • Once a business sits in the alarm zone, the game starts rolling dice against you. Not if anymore. When.
  • If a raid catches you, that business goes quiet for half an hour. Nothing breaks.
  • No raids while you're away. Heat climbs at most to just under the alarm threshold.
  • Eight cities, nine managers and an estate that grows with you.

Eight cities. You start out seeing five.

You start in a port town where nothing happens and work your way up, city by city. Every new run unlocks another city.

Live like a capo.

From an empty lot to a mansion: you build the estate up over five stages. Eight rooms on four floors, holding 42 collectibles.

None of it makes you richer, none of it lowers your heat. The estate is pure bragging rights, and it stays standing no matter how often you change cities.

Stage 5

Nine managers. You start with one.

Every run brings new ones, and each costs you something different. Put them to work properly and your empire runs without you.

Surge

Cargo puzzle · Container ship · Night voyage

You captain a freighter on a night voyage. Where and how high you stow the cargo is your call, before the sea and the next port arrive.

Container ship on a night voyage
Ship and sea from the game's artwork

Every row has its price.

You stack cargo in a cross-section of the hull. The higher you stow it, the more it pays. Whatever sits above the load line, the sea can take.

  • Full rows don't clear. They count as loaded and only pay out at the next port, all at once.
  • Every six pieces the ship heels, and the sea takes the top layer.
  • Unsupported cargo falls and can break. A preview shows where it will land before you commit.
  • Four kinds of cargo: bulk, general, reefer and valuables. Every port wants one of them in particular.

A voyage, not a level · twelve ports

Port to port, through the night.

From the second port on, the charterer checks your freight quota. The voyage ends at your destination, or earlier if you miss the quota twice. Then you get a captain's report, not a game-over screen.

The daily route

One route a day, the same for every player worldwide, one attempt. You share your result as plain text, no account needed. Free play runs alongside it as often as you like.

Ads you can check

Ads only when you want them: at most three offers per voyage, and the decline button is as big as the accept button. A ledger in the game shows what the ads earned the studio and what you got in return.

One thumb, no rush

Turn-based, tap instead of drag. No time pressure, works offline, and your progress stays on your device.

No lives, no energy

No countdowns and no offers when things go wrong. The voyage ends with a report, and the next one starts whenever you want.

Surge has no release date and no store listing yet. News lands here first. The images show artwork from the game; gameplay screenshots will follow.
